Ingredients
- 2 15 oz cans great northern beans
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 yellow onion (diced)
- 4 ribs celery (thinly sliced)
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 15 oz can low sodium beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 2 14oz petite diced tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp dried marjoram
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2-3 splashes of Louisiana hot sauce
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 8 oz Ditalini pasta
Preparation
Step 1
Cook meat in skillet until no longer pink. Drain if necessary. Combine all ingredients in crock pot except pasta. Cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-5 hours. Prepare pasta al dente. Stir in 10-15 minutes before serving.
