Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. beef tenderloin or sitloin steak
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 12 oz sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 cans beef broth
- 1/3 cup instant minced onion
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 cups sour cream
- 8 - 10 oz medium noodles

Step 1
Cut meat across the grain into 3/4 in. slices, then into strips 3 x 1/4 inch. Melt the margarine in large shillet. Cook and stir mushrooms in butter about 5 minutes, remove mushrooms.
In same skillet, brown meat. Reserve 2/3 cup of the broth, stir in remaining broth, the onion, ketchup and garlic salt. Cover and simmer 15 - 30 minutes. Blend the reserved broth and the flour; stir into the meat. Add mushrooms, heat to boiling, stiring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute, stir in sour cream and heat thoroughly. Cook noodle on package, drain and serve with the beef stroganoff.
