Apple French Toast

Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1 loaf cinnamon bread
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups half and half
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cinnamon syrup

Preparation
Step 1
Heavily butter 9x13 pan. Cover bottom of pan with 1/2 of bread. Spread pie filling over bread. Cover with remaining bread. Mix eggs, milk, half and half and spices. Pour mixture over bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Melt butter and mix together sauce. Pour over french toast.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes
