Brined Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breast ; on the bone with skin
  • ~~ -- Brine -- ~~
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Kosher Salt
  • 1 cup Orange juice

Preparation

Step 1

Mix brine well and pour over chicken pieces in a container that is just big enough to hold the chicken. Add enough water to cover. Let brine in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.

When ready to cool, throw away the brine, dry chicken and season however you like. Put on a baking sheet and cook at 500 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 and cook an additional 30 minutes.
