Ingredients
- 2 T evoo
- 1 large onion chopped
- 3 large cloves garlic chopped
- 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 T chopped fresh basil
- 3/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 lb pasta
- Slivered fresh basil
- Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oil in saucepan over low heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook stirring occasionally, 12 minutes or until soft. Make sure garlic does not burn. Add tomatoes, basil, red pepper flakes and salt. Cook 25 minutes.
2. Cook pasta, drain well. Toss with sauce and garnish with basil and cheese.
