Candied Sweet Potatoes

  • 2 Cans (16oz) Sweet potatoes in Syrup
  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Grated Orange Rind
  • 1/4 tsp ground Cinnamon



Step 1

Drain sweet potatoes, reserving 1/4 cup of syrup. In large skillet, heat brown sugar, butter, orange rind, cinnamon and syrup to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened, about 1 minute. Add sweet potatoes, heat through, gently stirring to coat potatoes with glaze.
