Ingredients
- 8 tablespoon Butter
- 2 container Chicken livers
- 2 package Chicken bouillon
- 1 small Onion ; chopped
- Salt ; to taste
- Pepper ; to taste
- Savory or poultry seasoning ; to taste
- Cayenne ; to taste
- 4 Eggs ; hard-boiled
Preparation
Step 1
Melt one stick of butter.
Saute 2 containers of livers and chopped onions.
Sprinkle chicken bouillon over livers and season as you go with salt, pepper, savory or poultry seasoning, and cayenne.
Cover to reserve juices and cook until tender. If they look too dry, add some hot water.
When done, mash livers with a fork. Add some or all of the chopped, hard-boiled eggs. Season with additional salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve with crackers or rye bread.
