Seafood: Crab Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 T butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 7 1/2 oz can crabmeat
  • 2 hard cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1/2 cup copped pimento
  • 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • May add mushrooms
  • May add celery

Preparation

Step 1

Make a white sauce. Stir in next three ingredients. Salt and pepper. Rest on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
