Fudge Sauce (BEST ever!)
why buy chocolate sauce - - this is the best ever and it's easy to make, store and reheat
- 6 oz semisweet chocolate pieces
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- pinch salt
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation time 5mins
Cooking time 25mins
In double boiler, combine chocolate pieces, butter and hot water. stir over low heat until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Add sugar and salt - cook and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat, stir in corn syrup and vanilla.
Serve warm, refrigerate leftovers. Leftover can be microwaved - but mixture will "sugar out" if not used within a week or so.
