Clam Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c celery
  • 1 c onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 heaping Tbsp flour
  • 2 small cans minced clams, including juice
  • 1 c fish stock
  • 1 c water
  • 3/4 tsp granulated chicken broth
  • 3 diced potatoes - raw, unpeeled
  • 20 oz half & half
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Saute celery, onions and garlic in melted butter.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer on low for 1 hour.

Note: If too thin, mix flour and water or corn starch then add to mixture.
