Classic Mac and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dry mustard
  • 2 1/2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups Cheddar ; 8 oz. shredded
  • 2 cup Elbow Macaroni Noodles
  • 1/4 cup Buttered bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

In saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat, blend in flour, salt and mustard. Add milk, heat, stirring until it thickens a little. Add 1 1/2 cups cheese. Heat until melted.

Cook and drain pasta. Combine with sauce. Pour into casserole, top with cheese, bread crumbs and paprika.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
