Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 sticks butter, divided
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar, divided
  • 1 tblsp. milk
  • 3 tblsp. light corn syrup
  • 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 c. milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c. white chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.
Line an 8 x 8 pan with parchment.

1. In a mixer cream 1/4 c. sugar & 1 stick butter.
2. Add flour & mix.
3. Stir in milk. Mixture will resemble coarse crumbs.
4. Press into pan & bake for 25 minutes until golden. Remove & cool.
5. In a medium saucepan melt 1 1/2 sticks butter with 1/2 c. sugar.
6. Add corn syrup & condensed milk.
7. Bring to a boil, lower heat, simmer for 10 minutes until mixture becomes golden brown.
8. Pour caramel onto crust.
9. Let sit at room temperature for 1-2 hours until caramel is set.
10. Melt chocolate chips. Pour over caramel & spread evenly.
11. Melt white chocolate chips. Drizzle over milk chocolate.
12. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
