Ingredients
- Crust
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 t salt
- 1 t baking powder
- 1/2 t thyme or sage
- 1/2 to 1 cup shredded cheese
- Filling
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 T butter
- 2 cups cooked cubed chicken or turkey
- 2 cups leftover vegetables
- 1 can cream of chicken soup

Step 1
Combine butter, sour cream and egg. Beat at medium speed until smooth. Add flour, salt, baking powder and thyme or sage. Blend at a low speed until thoroughly combined. In ungreased 9” pie pan (1 ½” deep) or shallow 2 quart baking dish, spread batter evenly over bottom and up sides to within 1” of rim. Spoon filling into crust, sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before cutting.
