Moco Loco

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1/2 onion finely diced
  • 3/4 cups panko bread crumbs
  • worcestershire sauce
  • garlic salt
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp wondra flour dissolved in 3 tbsp water
  • 2 eggs per person
  • hot cooked rice

Preparation

Step 1

1. Pulse bacon in food processor until its a paste.
2. Add beef, 2 dashes worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic salt, panko and run food processor until blended.
3. Form into patties (this will make between 6 and 8 patties).
4. Pan fry patties for 4 minutes per side.
5. Deglaze pan with splash of broth. Then add remaining broth and 2 dashes of worcestershire and bring to a boil.
6. Reduce by 1/4 to 1/2. Add flour and water mixture until gravy is desired consistency.
7. Fry 2 eggs per person.
8. On a plate, put a mound of rice. Top rice with beef gravy. Add patty and then fried egg. Enjoy!
