Ingredients
- 4 c. chopped purple cabbage
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 peeled and chopped apples
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- Measure these ingredients into saucepan. Cover and cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain well.
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. butter or margerine
- 1/4 tsp allspice
