Chicken and Veggie Soup

Ingredients

  • 32 oz chicken broth
  • 2 -3 cooked chicken breasts, meat removed and diced or shredded
  • Small package of frozen asparagas
  • Small can of green chilis (or 5 fresh, roasted and chopped)
  • 5 green onions, chopped
  • 1 handful of chopped, fresh cilantro (optional)
  • 2 cups kale leaves
  • 2 t. garlic powder
  • 1 T. Veggie Bombay
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Bring chicken broth to a boil. Add chicken, all veggies except kale, and seasoning. Let cook about 8 minutes. Add kale and cook about 2 more minutes. Salt to taste (be careful since the chicken broth has salt in it).
