Ingredients
- Dressing:
- 1 large sweet onion, chopped
- 1 head cabbage - sliced
- carrots, sliced or shredded
- celery, chopped
- pepper
- 1/2 c sugar
- 3/4 c white vinegar
- 1/2 c salad oil
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
Preparation
Step 1
Layer slice cabbage, carrots, onion, etc. Sprinkle with 1/2 sugar and repeat.
Bring dressing ingredients for a boil. While still hot, pour over cabbage mixture.
Press down with a plate. Cover and chill overnight.
Mix before serving.
Can be stored in any type of container.
