Seasoned French Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Rhodes frozen bread dough, thawed, but cold
  • 1-1/2 tsp coarse Kosher salt
  • 2 Tbsp melted unsalted butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian no-salt seasoning

Preparation

Step 1

Roll and stretch thawed load until it is 12-14" long. Place on a baking sheet coated with non-stick cooking spray.

Brush with butter.

Combine salt and spices. Sprinkle loaf generously with mixture.

Cover with plastic wrap and let rise 2-3 hours or until doubled in size.

Remove plastic wrap and bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes longer.

Let cool 10 minutes.
