Ingredients
- BASIC FORMULA
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups vodka
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup coffee
- vanilla bean
Preparation
Step 1
Mix water sugar and coffee together and heat to a rolling boil for 5 minutes. Let cool and add alcohol. Cut vanilla bean to minimum of thirds and split and add to bottle. Pour liquid in bottle and seal. Let set in cool, dark place for at least 20 days.
Yield 1 750 ml bottle-----25.5 oz-----3.2 cups
Formula for 27 bottles
27 (750 ml bottles) 90 cups
40 cups water
30 cups sugar
10 cups coffee
3 ½ gallons vodka (22 cups)
3 qts everclear (9.6 cups)

1 liter bottle -----33.8 oz----4.2 cups
1 ml----.034 oz
1 fifth bottle----26 oz----3 ¼ cups
½ gal----60 oz----7.5 cups
10 lbs of sugar = 18 ¼ cups
