Dill Ricotta Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 4 C all purpose flour (can use part multi-grain)
  • 1 TBS sugar
  • 1 TBS Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 TSP salt
  • 1 TSP Baking Soda
  • 1/2 C butter, cut up
  • 1 C buttermil
  • 1 C part-skim Ricotta cheese
  • 3 TBS chopped, fresh dill

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375

Stir all dry ingredients together. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until coarsely crumbly. Make well in center.

Mix ricotta, dill and buttermilk, then pour into well in dry ingredients. Stir mixture just until moistened.

Roll dough 1" thick on floured surface and cut out biscuits. Place 1" apart on greased sheet and bake 20-25 minutes.
