Pepper Steak and Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thin cut beef bottom steak
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 5 mini bell peppers, or 2 large bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 0.8 oz envelope of onion gravy seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Cut the steak into small strips.

Pour the vegetable oil into a pan, and place the pan over medium high heat. Add the steak, and season it with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Fry the steak until it's fully cooked. Add in the peppers and onions, and fry for about 3 minutes. Sprinkle in the onion gravy seasoning, and stir. Pour in 1 1/2 cup of water, and stir all the ingredients. Reduce the heat from medium high to medium, and continue to cook for 10 minutes.

Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
