Ingredients
- 1 pound Almond paste
- 1 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 14 teaspoon Fine, unseasoned bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon Almond extract
- 5 Egg white
- 1/4 pound Pignoli nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.
Break up the almond paste and put in food processor. Add sugar, breadcrumbs and almond extract. Mix well. Mix in egg whites until well blended.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in nuts in a pie plate. Flatten a little.
Bake 10-12 minutes. Do not remove from pan until cool.
