Italian Bread Wedges

Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 1 loaf of frozen bread dough
  • OR: Make loaf of bread dough
  • 1/3 c. fat-free Italian salad dressing
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
  • Dash pepper
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded part-skim mozzarella
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Pat dough flat. Let rest for 5 min. Press into a greased 14 inch pizza pan. Spread with salad dressing. Combine garlic powder, oregano, thyme, & pepper; sprinkle over dough. Top with cheeses. Bake at 450º for 15 to 20 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm. Yield: 12 slices. One slice = 146 calories.
