Ham Omelet Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 16 slices de-crusted bread
  • butter
  • polish ham (or other)
  • 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 can mushroom soup

Preparation

Step 1

De-crust bread,
butter 1 side of each;
layer buttered bread (butter up) in 9 X 13 glass pan;
layer of ham,
layer of cheese,
top with buttered bread layer (butter up);
pour egg mixture (remaining ingrediets) over;
set in fridge over night;
Bake at 300º for 1¼ hours;
cut in squares;
cover with mushroom soup if desired.
