Ingredients
- 1/2 C. butter
- 1/2 C. flour
- 1-1/2 C. milk
- 2-1/2 C. cottage cheese
- 1 t. baking powder
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. dijon mustard
- 9 eggs
- 2 packs of cream cheese (one 8 oz, one 3 oz)
- 3 C. shredded swiss cheese
- 1/3 C. grated parm. cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in medium saucepan. Stir in flour; cook and stir until bubbly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat. Stir until sauce thinckens. Remove set aside for 15-20 min.
Combine cottage cheese, baking powder, salt and mustard; set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Slowly add the cream cheese, cottage cheese, and the cream sauce. Fold in swiss and parm cheeses.
Pour into 2 greased 10 in. pie plates or one large pyrex. Bake at 350 for 40 min or until puffed and lightly browned.
