Ingredients
- 5 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. lard
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- water
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour and salt. Cut in lard until mixture resembles coarse meal with a few larger pieces. In a measuring cup, combine vinegar and egg. Add water to make 1 cup. Gradually add to lard mixture stirring with a fork. Gather into a ball and wrap and refrigerate or freeze until ready to use. Can also be divided into 3 individual balls to wrap.
