Pesto glazed asparagus with tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. asparagus,tough ends trimmed
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 pt. cherry tomatoes, 2 cups halved
  • 2 tbs. store bought prepared pesto

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375

-On jellyroll pan, toss asparagus with oil,salt and pepper
-Roast asparagus,stirring occasionally,until tender,25-30 min
-In bowl,toss cherry tomatoes with pesto
-Add tomato mixture to asparagus during last 5 min of cooking time
