Ingredients
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 1 (14 oz) bag caramels
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 cup chocklate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare cake mix according to box directions. Pour one half of the batter into a greased 9x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt caramels with milk and butter over low heat. Pour melted caramels over partially baked cake; sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips. Top with remaining cake batter and continue baking for 20 minutes.
