Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cans (15 oz. ea.) pinto beans, undrained
- 1 can (28 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
- 2 T. chili powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
Step 1
In large soup pot, brown beef & onion over med. high heat for 5 to 7 min. Add remaining ingredients, reduce heat to med. low & cook 1 hr. or until chili has thickened, stirring occasionally. (NOTE: add a little hot pepper sauce or cayenne pepper if you like it spicier.)
