Roger’s Fruit Stuffing

  • 1 1/2 lb. loaf bread cubed
  • raisins plumped
  • apples, cubed finely
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • chicken broth

Preparation

Step 1

Toast bread & cube. Use as many raisins & as much apple as you like.
Plump raisins in boiling water, drain & add.
Add finely cubed apples, salt, & pepper to taste. Add 1 tsp. poultry seasoning.
Add chicken broth until right consistency (not too mushy!) Put in crock pot & cook for 45 min. on high & then 4 to 8 hrs. on low.
