Ingredients
- 2 C sugar
- 1 C vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 2 C all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2/3 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 C pumpkin puree or cooked, mashed pumpkin
- CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 1/2 C butter
- 1 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 C confectioner's sugar
- 2 tsps vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 bakes 35-40 minutes
Mix pumpkin, sugars, eggs and oil. Add dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
For Frosting: beat softened butter until smooth. Gradually add pieces of softened cream cheese. Mix in vanilla and powdered sugar and whip fluffy.
Cool cake completely before frosting
