Gramma Kaldahl’s Molasses Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 2 T. Shortening
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 T. Dark Molasses
  • 1/4 c. rye flour
  • 1/2 c. Graham flour
  • 2 c. white flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. yeast

Preparation

Step 1

Place in breadmaker in order listed. Mix all flours together well before adding. Put yeast on top. Follow your machine’s directions.
