Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 1/4 2 1/4 cups & 1/8 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 3/4 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3 squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
- 1 1/3 cups milk plus 3 tbsp
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 12 oz cream cheese
- FILLING
- Cream 3 tbsp butter with 12 oz cream cheese. Add 1 large or 2 small eggs, 3 tbsp
- milk, 3/4 tsp vanilla, 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch and 1/4 cup & 1/8 cup sugar and then set
- aside.

METHOD
Grease and flour 13x9 inch pan. Combine flour with 2 cups sugar, salt, baking
powder and soda in large bowl. Add 1/2 cup margarine and 1 cup milk. Blend well.
Add 1/3 cup milk, 2 eggs, melted chocolate and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat till very smooth
Spread 1/2 of batter in pan - smooth all cheese mixture over batter to cover and then
add the rest of the batter over top to cover. Try not to mix. Bake 50-60 minutes.
(Check after 45 minutes) Make a chocolate butter icing.
