- 1 pkg (32 oz) baby carrots
- 1/2 cup + 3 TBS orange marmalade
- 3 TBS firmly packed light or dark brown sugar
- 3 TBS unsalted butter, melted
- 2 TBS water
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Step 1
1) Combine the carrots, marmalade, brown sugar, butter and water in the slow cooker; toss to coat the carrots completely. Cover and cook on LOW untill the carrots are tender when pierced with the tip of a knife, 4 1/2 to 6 hrs. The time will vary with the thickness of the carrots, so be sure to check at 4 1/2 hrs.
2) Season with salt and pepper, stir gently and serve hot.
