Ingredients
- 8 ounce Angel Hair Pasta
- 4 ounce Mushroom ; sliced
- 1 medium Onion ; chopped
- 2 stalks Celery ; chopped
- 6 tablespoon Butter
- 6 tablespoon All purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 3 tablespoon Sherry
- 3 cups Chicken ; shredded - about 3 breasts
- 1/4 cup Parmesan
Preparation
Step 1
Make chicken stock with onion, celery and chicken. Shred chicken off the bone.
In sauce pan, melt butter, whisk in flour and pepper and cook for a minutes.
Break pasta into 2" pieces. Cook and drain.
While pasta is cooking, add 2 cups chicken broth to the sauce pan. Add cream and sherry. Stir until thick - boil one minute more. Add mushrooms and chicken. Put pasta in a buttered dish and pour chicken mixture over it. Top with cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
