Creole Black Beans n Sausage

Ingredients
- 2 lbs smoked sausage, cut into 1" slices
- 3 cans (15 oz each) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1-1/2 cups each chopped onion, celery, and green pepper
- 1 cup water
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tsp dried thyme
- 1 Tsp chicken bouillion granules
- 1 Tsp white pepper
- 1/4 Tsp cayenne peppers
- 2 bay leaves
- Hot cooked rice

Step 1
1. In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium heat; drain. Transfer to a 5-qt slow cooker (or pot).
2. In a pot, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook until all vegetables are tender. Serve over rice.
