Ingredients
- 6 cups cornflakes
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Grease 9x13 pan.
Place cornflakes in large mixing bowl and crush with potato masher.
In large saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar, and brown sugar. Bring to boil, stirring often. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and peanuts. Mix well.
Pour syrup mix over crushed cornflakes. Mix thoroughly. Spread mix evenly in pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips evely over cereal mixture. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and spread melted chips evenly over top.
Cool and cut into medium squares.
