Ingredients
- 1 12 ounce bag fresh or frozen cranberries (3 1/2 cups)
- 5 ounces dried Mission figs, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- Kosher salt
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, figs, honey, cardamom, 1/4 cup water, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring often, until the cranberries begin to burst and the mixture thickens, 6-8 minutes. Let cool. Serve at room temperature.
