Ingredients
- BOTTOM
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 500 grams lean ground beef
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- GRAVY
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 sachets of beef OXO or 2 tbsp of a liquid beef OXO
- TOPPING
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 cups cooked mashed potatoes
Preparation
Step 1
%{color: red}Preheat upper oven to convection bake 400⁰F%
* Fry onions in fat until soft.
* Add meat and cook until crumbly. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
* Turn into greased casserole.
* Mix mushroom soup, flour and beef OXO in the fry pan.
* Spread mushroom gravy on top of meat.
* Whip potatoes until light and fluffy, adding butter, salt and pepper.
* Drop by spoonfuls on top of casserole. Spread with a fork.
