From the Maritimes and a garden filled with fresh vegetables. This is a fresh vegetable recipe. Great for a barbeque with all in one pot.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes with skin, quartered
  • 1 cup sliced onion (optional)
  • salted water
  • 1 cup carrots, cut bite size
  • 1 cup green string beans, cut up
  • 1 cup yellow string beans, cut up
  • 1 cup pease
  • 2-4 tbsp butter/margarine softened
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • salt, sprinkle
  • pepper, sprinkle

Preparation

Step 1

Cook potatoes and onion in salted water until half cooked, about 10 minutes.

Add remaining vegetables. Cook until tender. drain.

Add butter, cream, salt and pepper. Toss to mix
