Apple Cider Oatmeal

A yummy, quick breakfast that my family enjoys. We love oatmeal in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 3/4 cups apple cider
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

1 In a microwave-safe bowl, combine oats and cider.

2 Microwave, uncovered on high for 1-2 minutes.

3 Stir in the butter, cinnamon and salt (if using. I don't like it with salt but hubby does).

4 Serve.
