Genovese Basil Gremolata

This is especially good over fresh steamed vegetables such as asparagus, green beans or broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 3 Tbsp lemon zest
  • 1/8 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon-flavor olive oil or extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation: Makes about ¾ cup dressing
Mix basil, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil and garlic together in small bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
