Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk. Bake 350 for 1 hour. After cooked combine 1 lemon and 1/4 cup sugar. Pour on cake.
