Cinnamon Apple Breakfast Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1/2 t cinnamon
  • 1 tube (8 count) Pillsbury Cinnabon cinnamon rolls
  • 2 T butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar

Step 1

Mix together apple pie filling and cinnamon. Spread thin layer of mixture onto the bottom of a well greased pie pan. Set remainder of filling mix aside. Separate the cinnamon roll dough into 8 rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Place the quartered rolls into large bowl and add remaining apple pie filling mixture. In a separate bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Mix well and add to the cinnamon roll mixture. Toss gently to combine. Spoon the cinnamon roll mixture over the apple mix in the pie pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and the invert onto a serving platter. Remove lid from cinnamon roll frosting container and microwave for 10-15 seconds or until it's of drizzle consistancy. Drizzle over the warm cake.
