Chili Sauce

Ingredients

  • 18 large tomatoes
  • 6 medium onions
  • 12 apples
  • 1 head celery
  • 3 green peppers
  • 3 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 c vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cloves ground
  • 1 1/2 tbsp all spice
  • 3 tbsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Clean, peel, slice & chop vegetables as required to coarseness you like. Mix all prepared ingredients together. Cook in a large canning pot or 2 dutch ovens until thick. Pour into sterile jars while still very hot. Seal & store 1 month before eating.
