Crockpot Machaca Beef

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb lean beef roast
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 oz can of chopped green chilies
- 2 low sodium beef bouillon cubes
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp seasoning salt
- 1/2 t black pepper
- 1 cup salsa
- water

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine all. Add water to cover.
2. Cover & cook on low 10-12 hours
3. Shred beef using two forks to pull apart
4. Use filling in bib lettuce & top with salsa to taste. You can use tortillas if you don't watch carbohydrates.
I couldn't find a 1 1/2 lb roast so mine was 2.7 lbs. I just increased the ingredients to 2 4 oz hatch green chilies, 3 bouillon (I use better than bouillon), and I never measure dry ingredients, just throw em on there to taste. Best salsa is any Mrs. Renfro's depending on your liking (we like habanero)
