Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup elbow macaroni
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 sliced celery (about 2 stalks) (optional)
- 1/2 cup diced onion (one small onion)
- 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes
- 2 - 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 packet beef flavor enhancer
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium pot of boiling, salted water, cook pasta just until tender, drain.
In large skillet, brown beef and onion, draining off excess liquid.
Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart casserole dish and bake, covered, for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes, or until top is light golden and crunchy.
