Jalapeno Jelly

Ingredients

  • 16 jalapeno peppers, seeded and cored
  • 1 haberno pepper, seeded and cored
  • 1 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 ounces liquid pectin

Preparation

Step 1

Finely mince 4 jalapeno peppers and habanero pepper and set aside. Put 12 jalapeno peppers and vinegar in blender and process until smooth. Transfer mixture to saucepan and add sugar and minced peppers. Bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes. Add pectin and boil 1 minute. Ladle into hot jars leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Seal jars in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
