Ingredients
- 1 lb snaps
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 red pepper diced
- 1 jalapeno diced
- 1 TBS ham soup base
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 TBS EVOO
- 1 cup chicken broth
Preparation
Step 1
Clean and "snap" beans
In a large skillet place evoo, ham base and 1 tbs chicken broth, bring to simmer and disolve base.
Add garlic and stir until aromatic
Add onion and stir until they just start to soften
Add snaps and peppers, stir until snaps turn bright green (2 minutes)
Add balance of chicken broth and reduce heat to low. Simmer with partially vented lid until all all liquid evaporates, stirring constantly.
Serve
