Double-Coated Globs

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shelled nuts
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp blackstrap molasses
  • 3 tbsp raisins
  • Sufficient carob powder for coating
  • Sufficient sesame seeds for coating

Preparation

Step 1

Place nuts in blender; grind to a flour. Pour into mixing bowl. Add honey and molasses; mix well. Add raisins and blend until you have a sticky, cohesive mass. Shape into small balls; roll in carob powder. Place on waxed paper. After about 15 minutes, honey will have soaked through carob. Roll balls in sesame seeds. Can be served immediately.
